Alternative Sakray Patchers

If you are unable to update your Sakray, there are a couple of different methods to patch your Sakray.

1. Super fast Sakup
Some ISP's block the official Sakray servers. If that is the case, you can try the TalonRO fast Sakray updater.
Download the following file: http://forum.talonro.com/Sakup.exe

Put this file in your RO folder and run it.

2. Alternative Sakray
In case Step 1 did not work, you can try Alternative Sakray.
Download Alternative Sakray here: http://forum.talonro.com/deXter's Sakray Updating Pack.zip

• Extract it in your RO folder
• Run ROSakFix.exe
• Run Alternative Sakray.exe and wait for it to be done
• Exit Alternative Sakray.exe once it's done and run ROSakFix.exe again

3. Valhalla Patcher
If both Step 1 & 2 did not work, you can try Valhalla Patcher.
Download Valhalla Patcher from here: http://forum.talonro.com/Valhalla_Client_Patcher.rar

• Extract it in your RO folder
• Run Valhalla Client Patcher.exe
• If it says "Cannot find MSVBVM50.DLL", download this file and extract it in your C:\Windows\System32.
• Select Beta Ragnarok Online (Sakray) from the list
• Let it update

Thank you. But, I've tried the Sakup. I've tried the Alternate Sakray Fix one. Now I just tried the Valhalla but now it's saying that I'm missing a MSVBVM50.DLL to start it. Sigh.. I really want to play this. I've never had trouble with Ragnarok in the past. I've played this game since 2002.

First off: when you start the normal game, does it let you at least login? If not, it might be a Firewall related issue.

As for your Valhalla patcher, try to put this file in your RO folder: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvbvm50

i too am having issues.. i got the Alternative Sakray to work and such but when i try to run the TalonRO patcher i get absolutely nothing.. then i figured i actually got it and went to go log in i get the whole "Failed Connection" type message..

i have taken a few months off from the game due to real life.. currently on a new pc.. runs vista
but i'd honestly like to play today and not be bogged down by silly issues..

Could it be that you are still using the old client? We have converted to eAthena and a new server, so there is a new patcher and client.

absolutely nothing im still being told that the connection has failed..

is there something else i could be missing?
(before it's asked i have already given these files permission to bypass the firewall and even my custom firewalls are allowing the program to go to the net.)

Download Ragray, download tRO installer, play.

I just did that on two Vista computers and on Ubuntu and it worked.

You could also post a screenshot of your Ragnarok folder.

i downloaded the vahalla one and it download all files like FTP need to run sakray next to download all files it say patching progess and im still there for like 30mins
