This year we have a myriad of activities available for you including TWO competitive events that have great rewards. Put on your thinking cap and gaming gear and prepare yourself for an intriguing and exciting Halloween here on TalonRO!

Event Warper!
First and foremost, the Queen of the Damned. She will be your event warper for the duration of this event and can be found in Prontera City right next to the Fountain. Can't miss her! |
Trick-or-Treaters!
Upon reaching the island, you will encounter fellow trick-or-treaters of all kinds. Some will give you helpful tips while others will not tolerate being bothered and will strike back if necessary.

This is where the fun begins! There are several activities located in random houses throughout the island. Some doors will take you to your desired game while other doors may just get you a door in the butt. But worry not for patience may bring treats!

Wandering Minstrel!
Meet Wandering Minstrel. He will serenade you with beautiful and fun songs. Perhaps these songs could even help you with other things on the island. |
Trick-Or-Treat Bags!
Of course with children trick-or-treating, we have Trick-Or-Treat Bags! Inside every bag is a trick or a treat. Your luck will decide what surprises you will get. You can get from Fruits to Weapons and Armors and even MvP cards! |  |
Questionnaire!
Quiz! Quiz! Quiz! Due to popular demand, the Questionaire is making a reappearance! This activity will take place in one of the houses around the island so keep your eye out for it.
The idea is fairly simple for those who are new to this. Questions will be asked of varying difficulties and your job is to pick the correct answer. If you answer correctly, you will be awarded a Silver Coin. Get the answer wrong and, well, better luck next time!
Collecting Coins!
One of our main events! There are three floors in the Krispen Mansion and they are infested with monsters. It would be of great service if you helped clean out the mansion. The monsters on the first floor as well as two particular monsters on the second floor drop Silver Coins! Further along, all the monsters on the third floor AS WELL AS two particular monsters on the second floor drop Gold Coins. Good luck hunting!
Competition #1
The three players with the most Gold Coins at the end of the event will be awarded special prizes. First, second, and third places will all get the same prizes. So as long as you are among the top 3, you will qualify for the grand prize! Worry not if you do not make it on the list, we will provide you a way to get rid of your Gold Coins when the event is over.
Farm long and farm hard! The road will be rough but it will be worth it!
Protip: In order to quickly travel between the floors, you must first venture by foot before you may use the warper that is available inside.
Battle For Treasures!
To add another side to the Halloween event, this year you have a chance to battle fellow players for a chance to show that you are the one that deserves what the treasure chests hold. Every two hours, the door to the Krispen Treasure Room will open for 30 minutes for those who choose to fight for their glory. May the best player win!
| The Krispen Legacy and the Rise of Krispia
A few miles off the southern coast of Arunfeltz, outside of Veins City, lies a rather unusual mansion, with a rather dark past. For many years, the Mansion was a lively place, owned by a wealthy landowner named Edward Von Krispenato the Third. Every Halloween, Von Krispenato would host a fabulous ball, inviting not only the wealthy members of society to his island estate, but even poorer folk as well. All of the guests would come dressed in various elaborate costumes to sing and dance throughout the night. While the parents celebrated, the children received many goodies from Von Krispenato's smiling servants. Indeed, good times were to be found at ol' Eddie Von Krispenato's party...
These festive holiday times were short lived, however, for Edward was struck with a maddening disease that took every bit of his sanity. One year, during a Halloween party, he ran through the halls of his mansion, killing every servant in sight. When he had finished, he turned his rage on the revelers of the party. Not a single soul was spared from the massacre . . . not even the children. Some have said that the man was possessed; an unfortunate soul forsaken the right to control his own body. Others have assumed that he was cursed; fated by the devil himself to meet such a ghastly end. In either case, his story has faded from news to story and from story to legend. Now, many years have since passed from that fateful night, and Edward has long since vanished, leaving the mansion cold and abandoned with only tattered memories left clinging to the dust-covered walls.
BUT, as a new Halloween approaches, strange occurrences are beginning to take shape. Recently, many people are claiming to have witnessed strange lights emitting from and around the mansion. Some sailors even claim to have seen the figure of a young woman ambling around the wicked island. On top of this, local candy-makers have recently noticed a young woman who had ordered extremely large amounts of candy. The woman, who ordered under the name of "Krispia", requested the candy to be sent to the old island mansion of the late Von Krispenato. Startled by this odd request, many of the candymakers began to question her intentions. With a smile, the young lady would always reply, “I remember the days when hundreds of children would come out to the island and have such a marvelous time. I merely wish to bring back those times and help people forget the terrible atrocity that occurred so many years ago.”
With the day of ghouls creeping ever closer, children have begun to plan out their most clever tricks as well as how best to procure their favorite treats. However, a new factor has come into play this year, for most every family in Rune Midgard has received a very interesting invitation to a most unique sort of celebration. This year’s day of ghouls may very well be one that will never be forgotten. Upon arrival to the island, many parents breathe a sigh of relief as they see hundreds of children already enjoying the island candies. The sound of laughter fills the air, bringing a near nostalgic calm to the island, instantly dampening its horrid past. Parents release their children from their protective clutches, warning them not to stray too far and to stay out of trouble. “Do not worry, Madam,” states a dockhand to one nervous-looking mother, “the island is perfectly safe for your children.” Moments later the newly-arrived children are lost in a sea of candy and merriment. As the last of the boats arrive, a tall man comes to the end of the dock to greet them. Carrying only a lantern, he offers to lead them to the lobby of the mansion, where the other guests have been waiting. By now, a dreary fog has set over the island, blanketing the ground. Children pay no mind, and continue collecting their candy surprises from the island servants while parents make their way to the mansion.
At the heart of the island, the guests arrive at the mansion. Eager to join the festivities, they head inside. Immediately, they are overwhelmed by the immense amounts of party favors and refreshments that have been laid out for them. To one side of the Grand Foyer is an elaborate ballroom decorated with exquisite carvings featuring various monsters from all around the world. On the opposing side is another equally elaborate ballroom filled with many various games for the guest’s entertainment. In the middle of the Grand Foyer stands a young woman dressed in a simple long black dress with tiny silver symbols scattered about that appear to move about the gown. She gives a subtle smile and a polite wave to the last of the guests as they enter the mansion. In its current state, one would never guess that these floors were littered with blood stains years ago.
As the festivities begin, the young lady walks to the door and begins whispering nonsensical words. When she turns back around, the putrid smell of rotting flesh instantly fills the air. Many guests immediately fall to the floor in sickness. The stone statues break free from their pedestals, sending bits of rubble in all directions before they begin wreaking havoc on the festivities. Fleeing, many guests seek refuge throughout the many rooms of the mansion and those that stay attempt to fight but to no avail. Their terrified screams are muffled, however, by the wailing of the children outside. Their merry cavorting has declined into a panic-stricken run for their lives, as now-evil island servants begin to give chase...

Party Labyrinth!
Aaaaaaaand south of the event spawn point will be the Mysterious Statue that opens to the Krispen Mansion's labyrinth. This activity requires a party of FOUR. No more. No less. Maneuver through this honeycomb and complete the required tasks in each room that you encounter. Of course you will receive a prize at the end for completing it. What prize? Well, that's for you to find out.
Competition #2
The three parties that complete the honeycomb in the fastest time will win a grand prize as well. Again, first, second and third places will all receive the same grand prize so as long as your party is in the top three times, you will qualify! This will take brains, brawns, speed, and whatever else you can think of. If you don't succeed the first time, try again. There's always an easier way, you just have to figure it out.
Protip: A party can only be considered in the top three once and each winning player can only win once. So it would be a waste if one player was in multiple parties in the top three, now wouldn't it?
Revenge of Krispia!
She's out there somewhere. Waiting in one of the houses on Krispen Island for someone, anyone, even a party of people. She's counting down the minutes until a worthy opponent approaches her to challenge her. Come out victorious and she may retreat and abandon some of her treasures. She waits... |  |

Pumpkin Mojo tempts him. Pumpkins fill him up. YOU can have him as a pet this year! Pumpkin Mojos will only drop from mobs in this event and Trick-Or-Treat Bags so get them while you can! Omnomnom Jakk! |
