This year event was better than last year event, but they got a full set of diablo and a +1 upgrade while this time we need to buy the manteu for 400 gold coin? Beside that manteu is not hard to farm depending on your luck you can get it in no time. This good event deserve a worthy prize. And why gm is so scare of giving out prize, they gave a full set last time why this time we need to pay for the rest of the set? Btw, the price of the item beside TC is set by the market not by the gm, so far what the diablo worth depend on how much the seller want to sell and how much the buyer is willing to pay.
Last year, the winner's gold coins were cut in HALF in compensation for getting the grand prize. This did not happen this year. Last year, the +1 were rewarded due to the mishap caused by the confused of whether 1-3 places would get different or same prizes. We made that clear this year. Following, your assumption that this years event's prizes will be the same as last year has no basis since the event itself is very different and only the genre is the same. Also, every item besides npc sold items are set by the market. If you would like prizes that has an absolute price, then please look thru the items the npcs have to offer and let me know.
I agree, honeycomb have better prize. But I thought the main event was gold coin.
In no way did we say the gold coin competition is the main event, and that was purely your assumption. How is the prizes for honeycomb better? That is only a relative point of view based on the amount of time that went into each competition. The gold coin farming competition's time consumption is purely upto the players.
Also we aren't complaining about sharing the same prize with the other two. We know about that. We're voicing out opinion, the third floor was harder than last time we lost more exp than gaining it. Technically, we're lucky that we're 99.
The fact that you get the SAME prize as 2nd and 3rd should let you know that the prizes will be lesser in value in general. The 3rd floor was harder, but yet again the team that spent the most TIME won because by nature it is a farming competition. You losing exp during the event has no impact on what prizes you should get. Time, money, and etc were all spent on the event by your choice at a chance to win the competition.

We do our best to compensate players for winning a competition. Meaning, we reward the end result, not the means to the end (although you may be negatively rewarded if your means including cheating of sort). In a competition like the gold coin one, it is impossible to predict how much "effort" you will put into it. Honestly, you could have won the same prizes with only 200 coins if everyone had just farmed less. Hence, the players themselves control the amount of effort you put in, not us.
We can argue about your and my opinion about the fairness of the rewards for days, but it will remain a mere difference in opinion. There is no bug or miscommunication between the players and the GMs. Therefore, I suggest we just save ourselves the trouble and move on. There will be plenty of more events to come, which will always improve as they go in terms of both content and player satisfication.
