Make sure to run your TalonPatch to ensure you have the latest files!

We really do apologize for the downtime. There was some hardware issues at the datacenter. The situation was completely out of our hands and all we could do is send them angry e-mails

In order to compensate for the downtime we are doubling the drop rates of all misc items for a week!
Also EXP rates are now maxed at 8x. So you people shouldkeep voting to keep the rates nice and high.

But anyways! After a downtime of this degree we simply couldn't help but to include some updates!

Quest writing event submissions implemented!

Well first of all we finally managed to implement all the quests for the quest writing event!
There are a total of 14 new quests! (and one more coming up very soon) So that should be keep you busy for a while.

The winners will be announced soon as well.

Furthermore, we have disabled the Hallucination effect, so no need to use /effect anymore when a Myst Case lags your client with a wavy screen!


Instance Dungeons!

If you don't like questing then how about some PvM dungeons? Like instance dungeons? Instance dungeons are fun! That's why we implemented two of them!. There is also a new shortcut available for this, namely Alt+B, which will show you the instance window containing the time remaining.

The Orc Memorial dungeon!
A intense battle against the endless Orc Armies!

Oh but I also said we implemented two instance dungeons. The second one being;

Sealed Shrine!
Extremely challenging battle against the great demon king Baphomet!

Okay, this is seriously getting unacceptable. After a short uptime, the host has once again decided to be a gigantic pain in the ass. They can expect a couple of angry emails from us and most likely one less client as this is just not acceptable. We'll keep you posted on the progress... And yes, this is seriously pissing us off, as well.

Update 19:04
Apparently they brought it up temporarily since it was down for too long.
But they plan to swap out the motherboard.

Update 19:17
Estimated downtime is around 2 hours or less, but we'd still have to reboot eAthena after that.

Update 20:15
The host has informed us that the motherboard has been replaced and the server is running again. We just gotta wait for Boreas to be home for booting the server now.

Well, its not a complaint or anything just an observation. On the frist steps of the Valkyrie Band quest the boy asks for 5x Orange Juice. By the time these quests were wrote, it was sold on taming shop(which would make it easy to get) as you disabled the taming shop the only way to get it is by killing drops at a % of 0.6%. I'm wondering if you could change that because it is too "dificult" get this for being asked as the 2nd requeriment.
