Game keeps crashing in Prontera

First things first; this may sound noobish, but would someone kindly tell me how to take screenshots of the RO folder on my laptop? I'm completely at a loss.
Well the problem is each time I run the game, it crashes! I am able to get to the patcher thingamabob, log in, choose my character, and then for about two tantalizing seconds, I see Prontera and my character and then the whole thing goes kaput. I've combed through the Technical Support forums and found that:

seem to be the same problem I'm having. Except the solutions don't work with me. I've spent about three days trying to get this game to work and quite frankly my patience is somewhat reaching it's end, so can someone please shine some light on the subject? Your rdata is screwed up. Did you run TalonPatch and make sure your game is up to date?
