Chicken Curry

  • 7 Pcs Chicken parts

  • 154ML Evaporada Milk

  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder

  • 3 small potatoes

  • 1 piece of carrot

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 pcs minced onion

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • finger pinch amount of salt

  1. Pour 1tbsp of Oil, Pan-fry the potato and set aside
  2. Put some salt on the chicken
  3. Pan-fry the chicken and set aside
  4. In a large pan, saute the garlic and onion. Add the turmeric powder 
  5. Add chicken and carrot potato. 1 small milk and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously
  6. Bring to a boil, then turn the heat down to simmer for 10 minutes until the chicken is tender

  1. Just prepare a rice in your own decoration.(i made mine a pandaring monster)
  2. Set the yummy seaweed in your desired decoration.
  3. Put the Chicken Curry around the Panda RIce and it will become a magnificent chicken pandaring curry hihi. :wub:

  • 1 cup of cold rice
  • 2 tbsp ketchup 
  • 1 small onion
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp of oil
  1. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan and saute the minced onion until tender and add cold rice
  2. Stir-fry then season with ketchup and salt

Blanket and it's Pillow

  1. Beat two egg in a bowl
  2. Heat cooking oil in a pan and make a thin omelette
  3. Wrap some ketchup rice in a sheet of omelette to make a pillow
  4. Use a plastic wrap and for the the ketchup rice into the body parts of the teddy bear then put them together 
  5. Use the cheese to create a little bird (that's actually a little hill wind hiding the blanket hihi) make a beak using a little carrot
  6. Put a seaweed as a final touch to our Sleeping Teddy Bear Eggchup

  • 1 large size of Apple
  • 1 Big Banana
  • 1 small carrot
  • 370ml Evaporada Milk
  1. Wash carrots and red apples. Slice them into small pieces and place in a blender
  2. Peel bananas and slice them
  3. Add the banana to the prepared carrot-apple juice,blend the ingredients until smooth
  4. Put the juice in the strainer to filter it
  5. Refrigerate it or add ice for its best Taste!

  • 8 Pcs (or any amount) Big White Marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 red melted chocolate
  • 1 cup of water
  1. Boil the water in the pot and put the bowl in the top of the pot and pour the chocolate and stir if the chocolate is ready
  2. Pour the melted chocolate in the cup cake molder to create a mushroom shape
  3. Put it inside in the ref and wait for it atleat 2hours

For the white spot Fondant

  1. Put 3 Marhmallows in a microveable bowl heat on low for 5 minutes or less(or until the marhmallows melt)
  2. After that, Add 1 tsp of water and stir until you achieved the smooth texture
  3. Put a 1/2 cup of sugar and stir it 
  4. Put a little amount of sugar while Kneading until smooth and no longer sticky
  5. Make a circle design to put as a toppings in your Spore MushMallow

Talherea's Autumn Cookoff entry

 

Foreword

 

When I was choosing what dishes to cook I tried to follow next ideas:

1. All (or most) ingredients must exist in both RO and real world

2. Community of Talon Ro lives all over the world. We have very different cultures, traditions and food we are used to eat. This is why most ingredients must be "international" and easy to find world-wide in a nearest supermarket

Another idea was to make Prontera themed dishes. And I started to analyze what citizens of Prontera could eat. The answer came by itself while walking through Npc-marketplace. Pronterian's for sure get ingredients that grow and walk (not for long!) around the city. So... my Autumn Cookoff entry is based on idea that everything you need for cooking must have an in game analogue and is easy to get from locations around Prontera.

 

 

 

Main dish

Tender picky fillet with sweet potato in creamy spore sauce

 

Ingredients for 2 portions (RO version / Real version):

581.gif150 gr of Edible mushroom / Champignon (sold at prontera (170, 226))

519.gif100 ml of Milk / Cream 20-30% (sold at prontera (73, 134))

Optional:

Cooking:

1. Peel the onion. Cut it into small pieces. Don't cry, everything will be Ok! /sob

2. Wash mushrooms. Cut them if you have medium or big ones.

3. Drip a bit of cooking oil on you frying pan, add cut onion and start frying on medium fire. In 1-3 min when onion gets half-ready add mushrooms. Continue frying for 3-5 min. Add salt. Fry until mushrooms are ready ~5min.

4. I hope your profession can wear maces because next you need to do is... SMASH YOUR PICKY WITH A HAMMER!

5. Add salt and pepper by you taste.

6. Turn in oven on 200 C / 400 F degrees. Place all products in a dish you use for cooking in oven. You can also use your frying pan for that. But don't forget to remove the plastic handle.
Start with potatoes. If you have big potatoes cut them into 4-8 pieces. Add salt, mix, add a bit of cooking oil, mix again. Every potato must be covered with oil. Place meat by sides. Put mushroom and onion on meat and near it. Add cream. Cream must cover your dish by half.

7. Optional: add spices, herbs and grated cheese.

8. Put dish in oven and cook it for 45-60 min. Cooking time depends on size of your potatoes, so better try if potatoes are ready before you get dish out of oven.

Sweet pumpkin cake

 

Ingredients (RO version / Real version):

12304.gif1,5 teaspoon of Baking Powder or mix of Lemon Acid with Baking Soda

Optional:

1026.gif  You can replace Pumpkin + Carrot filling or add as extra: nuts, seeds, dried fruits, poppy seeds, lemon (2 tablespoons of juice + peel half lemon). Summary weight of filling must be 150-200 gr.

Cooking:

1. Turn on your oven on 200 C / 400 F degrees, preparations won't take long. Peel and wash carrot and pumpkin, remove seeds. Grate both.

2. Take a deep bowl. Whisk eggs with sugar until white foam will appear.

3. Slightly melt butter (you can do that by placing it in a microwave for 1 min). Add all ingredients into the bowl: melt butter, pumpkin, carrot, baking powder and optional ingredients by your taste. Add 1/2 of flour. Whisk. If dough is thin, add a little bit more flour. You can repeat that few times. Dough will be quite sticky and easy to mix, it shouldn't be too thick.
Note: If you will put a little bit less flour then your cake will be slightly wet. If you add a bit more flour your cake will crumble and remind you a muffin. Both variants are good and tasty.

4. Take a baking dish with diameter around 20-25 cm, or a similar size square dish. You can also take a baking dish for cupcakes (fill each form by half with dough). Grease the dish with oil or butter, or cover it with baking paper as I did. Put dough into the baking dish.

5. Put the dish into heated oven for 40-45 min. DO NOT OPEN! 40 min and not a minute less! Size will increase about 2 times. After 40 min try with a wooden stick if the cake is ready. Let it cool (30-60 min).

Follow-up drink for desert

Sour herb and fruit tea

 

Ingredients for 1 liter of tea (RO version / Real version):

507.gif1 tablespoon of dried Red Herbs / Dried Hibiscus (dropped from Red Plant and Picky)

512.gif1 tablespoon of dried Apples (run Porings, run!)

582.gif1-2 slices of fresh or dried Orange (dropped by Peco Peco)

568.gif1-2 slices of Lemon (I bet you have it in Kafra storage!)

578.gif1-5 Strawberries (dropped by Snake or Yoyo)

Optional:

518.gif4-8 teaspoon of Honey or Sugar. Keep in mind that tea will have sour taste and you will need more sugar that you usually take.

Cooking:

1. Prepare all ingredients and a teapot or a French press.

2. Put lemon and orange (only if you have fresh) in the teapot / press, add sugar, squeeze with a spoon. Add all other ingredients. Pour boiling water.

3. Close the lid on teapot / press. Leave tea for 10 min to brew. Enjoy warming hot or refreshing cold.

@Direeva At first I wasn't sure how to feel since there was no strict tRO theme, but the thought and care put into the in-game ingredients and gathering method are so well thought out and perfect (especially for Prontera!)  that it makes this a wonderful valid entry. Very fun to read, keep em coming  guys! /rice

2016 Autumn Cookoff

 

Main Dish

Pineapple Condor Thighs

Ingredients

3 Chicken whole thighs/leg

200g Flour [ I’m using Kentucky Flour]

1 Egg [Only want the egg whites]

Cooking Oil [Depends your pan/wok, just use enough to fry]

 

Part B

1 Pineapple

½cup Tomato Sauce

5ml Cooking Oil

*Option Some Salt and Black Pepper

 

Method

Part A

1.       Wash and cut the chicken leg into pieces.

2.       Coat the chicken with egg whites and flour.

3.       Deep fry the chicken in high heat until golden brown.

Part B

1.       Cut the pineapple into half, dig out all flesh, make sure don’t over dig, make pineapple bowl.

2.       Cut the pineapple flesh into small piece.

3.       Heat up oil, add in pineapple and tomato sauce, stir-fry until mixed well.

Final

1.       Mix the chicken and sauce.

2.       Place it into pineapple bowl.

3.       Ready to serve.

Leaf Cat’s Shrimp Salad

Ingredients

1cup Mayonnaise

½ Lemon

1 Red Apple

1 Green Apple

1cup Flour [ I’m using Tapioca Starch]

Cooking Oil [Depends your pan/wok, just use enough to fry]

*Option Some Salt and Black Pepper

 

Method

1.       Peel and devein the raw shrimp.

2.       After clean the shrimp, coat it evenly with flour.

4.       Allow the shrimp cool down.

7.       Mix the step 6 with red and green apple.

Bloody Red Potion

Ingredients

80g+/- Rock Sugar

1.5L Water

 

Method

1.       Wash and peel the calyx off from the capsule. We don’t want the seed capsule.

2.       Place the calyx into a pot and 1.5L water, boil it for about 25minutes. Stir it, if you want the juice more concentrate, then you have to boil it longer.

3.       Add rock sugar and stir it, until its dissolved.

4.       Allow it cool down to room temperature, you can also direct serve it with ice cubes. If too sweet, add some mineral water.

My favorite dish! Let’s go, catch some Condor at Fortress Saint Darmain(South) to get some meat for this dish.

Kalala Swamp is one of my favorite place to farm sprout, so I went this place to get pineapple. You need watch out Dragon Tail, don’t get stung by it.

Part A

Method

Part A

1.       Wash and cut the condor leg into pieces.

2.       Coat the condor meat with egg whites and flour.

3.       Deep fry the condor meat in high heat until golden brown.

Part B

1.       Cut the pineapple into half, dig out all flesh, make sure don’t over dig, make pineapple bowl.

2.       Cut the pineapple flesh into small piece.

3.       Heat up oil, add in pineapple and sweet sauce, stir-fry until mixed well.

Final

1.       Mix the condor meat and sauce.

2.       Place it into pineapple bowl.

3.       Ready to serve.

Leaf Cat’s Shrimp Salad

This dish use for recovers HP, good for newbie.

Where to get Shrimp in tRO? Anyone know? Only 1 place 1 monster that you can obtain it. For this dish I visited few place. Let’s go =)

Place 1- Outside Ayothaya Dungeon, use Warp Girl > Dungeon > Ayothaya Dungeon. Watch out Wootan Fighter, this creature will chase people. The cat is looter, so please take care your stuff.

Place 2- Everyone know Prontera is capital city, so people usually come here to shopping etc. You can get Savory Sauce, Cooking Oil and Grain at Cooking Shop.

Place 3- South of Prontera, you will found a monster call Poring, pink colour. Kill it and obtain Apple and Unripe Apple.

Ingredients:

1 kg Minorous/Majorous (beef) ribs with bunch o' meat

2 L of water (not hot! room temp!)

2 Carrots

1 Tbsp oregano

Salt

Lil' bit of oil for pan frying

2 Stalk of Leek

6 Pcs Dried bay leafs

1/2 pcs of onion

Sweet Soy Sauce

Garlic Powder

 

How To cook:

1. CLEAN YOUR RIBS!

geez, they (minorous) are falling on the ground when they died and alot of sands around! make sure rinse with cold water first.. (but not too long)

2. THROW EVERYTHING ! in a big cooking pot

(except for garlic powder, oil, and soy sauce. For carrots and onion, just cut 'em to big pieces. for salt, i use 4 tbsp. so the meat have that saltiness. it may vary,depends on your taste buds. so taste the soup)

3. SIMMER THEM FOR 30 MINS! ...

(eh, don't know simmer? it's a term of when you cook water, it is only reaches the temperature to make little bubbles)

4. SKIM THE WATER CLOUD!

(you know when you see it)

5. SEASON WITH SALT!

( and wait................3 hours....... for that tendahness! if you want to make it more tender, put it in a quick cooking pot.. you know.. that presto things for another 30 mins)

6. PICK UP THE RIBS AND COOL IT!

(after the long "bath" your ribs need to rest too you know!)

7. DRIZZLE EM WITH SWEET SOY SAUCE! and GARLIC POWWWDAH

( put soy sauce to your likings.. if you like sweets, coat them with it. if not, meh, just a bit will do! same goes with garlic powder)

8. G-G-G-G-G-GRILL  EM! on a skillet.. or a griller.. your choice.

(im using pan.. so... with medium fire, cook the ribs meat facing down and drizzle more sweet soy sauce if needed.. cook until the soy sauce caramelized. turn it back each 5 mins. or if the soy sauce started to stick to your ribs. the same goes for grillers.)

9. PICK AND SERVE!

OKAY, NEXT STOP! THE STAR OF THE MENU

DESSERT:

ELEMENTAL BREAKER

Red Blood Crystal blue Green Live Wind of Verdue

(Word of advise! IT IS VERY DANGEROUS! KEEP CAUTION WHEN YOU MAKE THIS.)

Ingredients:

100 gr x 4 white sugar

25 gr x 4 corn syrup / glucose

2 tsp x 4  white vinegar

Food coloring gel (red, blue, green, yellow)

3 drops of Food Flavoring(strawberry, blueberry, lemon)

1 pcs of orange (sunkist)

1 pcs of pomelo

50 grams red bean paste

2 tsp matcha powder

3 tbsp strawberry jam

3 tbsp blueberry jam

1 Liter of vanilla ice cream (just incase you broke down and cried making this)

1 Lime

 

HOW TO MAKE:

1. MAKE CANDY FROM 4 DIFFERENT TYPES OF FLAVOR!

1.1 Put in sugar, flavoring, coloring,  and water in heavy bottomed sauce pan. mix well.

(pair this : straw with red, blue with blueberry, yellow with lemon, and none for green)

1.2 cook with medium low heat till it reach 105 C, then put in glucose. brush the sides of the pan from the excess sugar using wet silicone brush, or pastry brush.

(careful! dont touch the candy in the making!)

1.3 when it reach 150 C, quickly turn off the heat and mold them in this things.. its silicon mould.

1.4 Here's the tricky part:

pour in the candy liquid in the bottom part until it is almost full, then close and rotate the ball careful enough to reach all the inner surface of the ball, and if done, pour excess candy liquid out of the ball through the hole atop.

1.5 Wait the temperature down.

until roughly 60-70 C or luke warm will do.

1.6 put in freezer till it sets.

1.7 after it is set, then, remove the silicon slowly by gently peeling from the center.

(carefull, I broke 4 along the way.. ahahaha/desp)

1.8 And that is your candy!

2. FILL THEM CANDIES WITH ICE CREAMM!!!!!

(for red blood, pipe half in ice cream, then pipe in strawberry jam, then ice cream again)

(for blue crystal, pipe half in ice cream, then blueberry jam, then ice cream)

(for Green Live, mix ice cream with matcha powder, then pipe em all in. sides with red bean paste)

(for Wind of Verdue, break them pomelo into bits of pulps, and then. ice cream-pomelo-ice cream. you know the drill.. then peel of the skin of sunkist and seed em. then squeeze limes on the sunkist.)

3. ENJOY YOUR HARD WORK WITH ICE CREAM

Hihi all, 

I was thinking about the cooking event while wandering around Payon the other day, hoping something would trigger a "themed" recipe in my mind.. when it hit me (or rather.. bit me!)

I noticed eggs, oranges, milk... and PECO!  There was an overabundance of peco, really... so why not use them in a recipe?

Searching around one map lower I discovered mushrooms and strawberries.  SOO... I would like to cook Peco tenders, Mushroom risotto, and a (Poring stole my) Strawberry and banana smoothie for you guys. 

Main Dish: Peco Tenders

Ingredients: 

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups milk (I used 2% for this recipe

2 eggs

4 Tbsp Garlic Powder

3 Tbsp Onion Powder

2 Tbsp Salt

2 Peco breasts (for this recipe I substituted chicken breast)

Cooking oil

Directions:

IMG_7693.JPGSlice your peco/chicken breasts into medium-thin slices.

Bowl = Eggs, Milk, 2 Tbsp garlic powder, 1 1/2 Tbsp onion powder, 1 Tbsp Salt
Pan = Flour, 2 Tbsp garlic powder, 1 1/2 Tbsp onion powder, 1 Tbsp Salt, Dash of pepper

 

Take your peco tenders (3-4 at a time) and coat them in the flour mixture.  Shake off the excess and dip them in the egg mixture.  Lift them out with a fork and place them back in the flour mixture.  IMG_7697.JPGThe tenders at the top are flour only, left ones are coated in flour, dipped, and coated with flour again.  The tenders on the right are what they will look like after they've been coated in flour and dipped in egg. 

Once they've been coated in flour, dipped in egg, and coated with flour a second time, they're ready for the pan!

IMG_7699.JPGIt doesn't require much cooking oil. (just enough to cover the bottom of your pan.

Flip your tenders several times while cooking.  You're looking for a uniform golden-brown color.

Side Dish: Mushroom Risotto

This is not a difficult dish to cook... but it is time consuming. That said, if you've ever had risotto, you know it's well worth the effort. <3

Ingredients:

6 cups chicken broth

3 Tbsp Olive oil

16 oz sliced Crimini mushrooms (came out to 2 small cartons)

8 oz sliced white mushrooms (1 small carton)

1 medium-sized shallot (diced)

1 1/2 cup Arborio rice

4 Tbsp butter (not margarine!)

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

You will need 2 cooking pots for this recipe

Directions: 

In your first pot, begin warming your chicken broth over medium heat.  Reduce to simmer when it begins to boil.

In your second pot, add 1 1/2 Tbsp Olive oil and all (yes, all) your mushrooms. IMG_7787.JPG

 

Cook until soft and look similar to mine (this took about 7 min.).  Transfer them to a bowl and cover them with foil so they don't cool much.  Set them aside while we move on with our cooking. 

In the same pot (no, I didn't even rinse mine), add 1 1/2 Tbsp Olive oil and the diced shallots.  Cook them on medium heat until they start losing their color. Add the rice to the pan.

Here's the tricky part!  

Remember that broth you had in the first pan?  Now we need it. Add 1 cup warm broth to the rice and onion pot.  Stir until almost all the liquid is absorbed. Add another cup of warm broth to the rice pan and stir until the liquid is absorbed.  Lather, Rinse, Repeat for a total of six times. 

Remember to stir constantly. Your mixture will look similar to this.   IMG_7789.JPG

When the last of the liquid has been absorbed by the rice, reduce the heat.  By this time your rice should be fairly creamy.  

Add the butter and mushrooms (remember those?) to the pot. Stir gently. Top with Parmesan cheese after plating. 

 

 

Drink: (Poring stole my) Strawberry and Banana Smoothie

Ingredients: 

2 cups Orange Juice

20 Strawberries (tops removed, sliced in half)

2 Bananas (sliced)

Whipped topping (no amount given for this.. you'll see why)

2 cups ice

(You will need a blender for this recipe)

Directions: 

Add ice to the blender, add strawberries, top with the bananas. Pour the orange juice over the bananas.  Add two spoonfuls of whipped topping.  (This makes the smoothie creamy... so when I say 2 spoonfuls, I use a serving spoon to dollop it out).

IMG_7794.JPGBlend on the "Ice crusher" setting, if you have it.  If not, pulse blend on the low setting. 

 

 

Final Product!  Dinner is served:  Peco Tenders, Mushroom Risotto, and Poring stole my Strawberry and Banana Smoothie!
