TamTam's  Catch of the Day Dish

5974d98a25f2a_FakeTamTam.thumb.JPG.e1fa6a940fd25198ed771b39a88cc59b.JPG

How to create TamTam's Dish

Spoiler

Step one - Preparing the Lobster tails the night before

IMG_3615.thumb.JPG.8c1f1f0f091f287d28f158a67d621338.JPG

What you will need

- x1 Lobster tail per dish

-x1 Onion

-x2 Sweet Tomatoes

- x6 or 7 Chillis -

I will be using some special chills which have been marinated in vinegar, garlic & ginger for a month

 Let's Begin

IMG_3714.thumb.JPG.0e6337e702346819a4ab4bd2ccaf73c5.JPG

- Wash Tomatoes and Lobsters tail's, in separate bowls in cold water.

- Rinse off the Tomatoes but leave the Lobster tails in water, this will help them defrost a little.

- Peel onions and chop into pieces and then cut tomatoes into four slices

- Once done, add the Tomatoes, Onions & Chillies into a blender with a pinch of salt and pepper.

- Blend until mixture has turned into a food paste like texture.

- Test to see if the Lobster tails have defrosted, you can do this by folding them inwards as shown in picture 4

-Once defrosted place the tails into a bowl, add the mixture and mix together. Then cover the bowl with clingfilm and leave over night in the fridge.

---

Step Two - Preparing TamTam's Dish

IMG_3636.thumb.JPG.28e9c40a7254eb448472621acf5b4f02.JPG

What you will need

Adjust accordingly to how many people you are serving

x1 box of mix veg.

x1 box of mixed Mussels, King Prawns & Squid.

Half a box of Cup Mushrooms

x2 cups of Jasmine rice

x1 Sheet of Roasted Sushi Nori Seaweed

Lobster tails prepared from the night before.

-----

597f6e0763627_FoodPrep.thumb.JPG.422554f773f6fb39dadceae791fee669.JPG

- First thing you will need to do is prepare the mixed veg by cutting off any bad parts and then dicing the mushrooms

- Once done place the veg into a container and wash them under cold water by doing this you are removing any bacteria and to ensure they are clean.

- After cleaning the veg, turn the stove on to high heat and prepare a pan with olive oil. While you are waiting for the oil to heat, rinse off the water from the veg in a colander and gently shake out any water let on the veg.

Preparing the Rice

- While waiting for the veg and seafood you can prepare the rice, which should only take 15min to cook in a rice cooker.

- you can use any cup for the rice depending on how many people you will be serving but this is the important part when it comes to adding the water you will need to use the same cup as you did for the rice.

-Take the Jasmine rice and place in a rice bowl, clean the rice under cold water and then add 1 cup of water.

(for every cup of rice you have the equal to water will be one cup less, for example, 2 cups of rice will equal to 1 cup of water)

Time to Fry & Steam the seafood plus Veg

- Once the oil has reached a high temperature, take the pan off the heat for 10seconds. This will reduce the heat from the oil and oil splash back.

- Throw everything into the pan and fry for 5min and then bring the heat down.

- Take the Lobster tails out of the bowl and set to one side, you will find that there's some mixture left which we will use to mix in with the veg and seafood.

- After adding the lobster tail mixture to seafood/veg leave to steam, you will need to stir the mixture once in while so it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.

- Once the rice is cooked you can take the veg and seafood off the heat and place to one side until you are ready to serve.

Time for the easy part - Frying the Lobster Tails

597f6eb81e134_LobsterTailcooking.thumb.JPG.9bde2855e64b155f61c81cabb830d599.JPG

- Take your grill pan and place on a high heat over the stove. You can add some oil if you wish

- Once the pan is ready, place the Lobster tails flat side first for 5min and then turn over for another 5min. The lobster tails should come out juicy and tender.

-Should you wish for the lobster tails to be well done you can place them in the oven for an extra 5/10min.

- With the seaweed sheet, you can cut out the eyes. nose and mouth of TamTam

----

Bring the food together and mould into the wonderful *cough* TamTam as seen at the top of this spoiler!

Oh good luck getting those Sohee tears, they are absolutely impossible to get. Gone the moment they are created. Harder than getting a retail price switch.

Cherri is challenging you to tell a story. So, say you are cooking some pork. You can say went to prontera field, killed a savage and got the perfect cut of savage belly meat. Just use your imagination! It's a really fun challenge~

Morroc Brasilis Field / Sograt Desert

As hungry as usual, I asked a kid in Brasilis where to find some nice Brazilian food. I followed his directions but I think I lost myself, again.

Brasilis has a desert map, right? No? Oh god... I'm hungry...

Introducing:

Roasted Peco Legs covered in Bacon Mayonnaise and Magnolias rolled in Salty Sand. Together with some Rice and Black Beans, because nothing can go wrong with Rice and Black Beans

WP_20170907_012.thumb.jpg.9f4b02428059a9cd3907af1a8a16acdb.jpg

Recipe:

Roasted Peco Legs covered in Bacon Mayonnaise

Spoiler

Ingredients:

1 piece of chicken thigh

Salt, black pepper, cumin, vinegar and garlic - for seasoning

Mayonnaise

Purple onion

Honey

Bacon

How to:

Bacon Mayonnaise

Chop some onions and bacon into very small pieces, fry them together in low heat for a bit. It should start to release some tastiness. Add honey and water, and let it cook a bit more.  After that, mixture with mayonnaise and leave it resting on the fridge for a few hours. Or just use it immediately if you are on a rush.

Chicken thigh

Season the chicken thigh with salt, black pepper, cumin, vinegar and garlic. Let it rest for an hour then bake it in high temperature (280º C) for approximately 40 minutes. Check from time to time. When the skin is starting to get crispy, means it's done. Put some of the bacon mayonnaise on top and cook it for 5 more minutes. After that, it's time to eat.

Spoiler

Black Beans

Onion, Garlic, Salt, Bay leaves

Pork pieces of your choice (I used the feet)

How to:

Wash the beans. On a big pressure cooker, add the beans, water, bay leaves, salt. Let it cook for 20 minutes.

Let all the pressure out. Open the cooker and add the pork feet. Let it cook for 5 more minutes.

On a pan, fry some garlic and onions. Take 2 ladles of beans and mix with the fried garlic and onions. Mix it and then put it back on the cooker.

Let it cook a little bit more, this time without pressurizing it. Taste it and check if it needs more salt and if the beans are soft.

How to make it?

Spoiler

Ingredients are:

  • Two normal size sweet potatos;
  • Sauces (Onion, tomato, salt, leek, whatever you like);
  • 1 Eggz;
  • "Table Cream"? (halp I cant translate this thing);
  • Cheese of any kind (I used mozzarella, most common here);

IMG_20170902_135251854.thumb.jpg.a8ee3b2ead5a531acc33b64b62f80b74.jpg

--

You start by boiling the sweet potatoes

(I did not peeled the potatoes, cuz meh)

After the potatoes are soft enough to be mashed, let them cool a bit. Now (s)mash them. /bawi

Mix cheese, table cream, and all your desired sauces together on a blender.

Put everything together and mix them to obtain a uniform stuff. I'll call this, Mass.

Now put some of the Mass on a board, some cheese atop, more Mass, more cheese (loop here).

If you want, you can have some stuff atop the cheese (I used Leek and tomato slices).

How to make it?

Spoiler

The ingredients you'll need are simple:

  • Jelly (I used orange colored, passion fruit flavored jelly);
  • Water?
  • Anything delicious that can fit inside it. (I used a bombom);

Prepare your jelly (boil water, add jelly, etc, etc)

Fill your container until 1/3 of height and let it solidify(?) in the fridge

Take it out of the fridge, add your deliciously chosen round thingy atop the solidified jelly, and

add some more liquid jelly until it covers at least half the height of your chosen treat.

Take it to the fridge again, let it get solid. Take out of the fridge, fill remaining space with jelly.

Here you can see the poor vanil struggling for his life /sob

/wah "Almost there we are." Yoda, Master

Now with the GM Cherri challenge (Oh, the days lost thinking of the perfect story):

First of all is how I discovered TamTam's favorite food was a Sweet Potato Pie and that Vanilmirths can be edible.

Its no secret to anyone that smokies do enjoy sweet potatoes. However not all smokies enjoy raw sweet potatoes, so I went on a journey to figure what is the favorite form of sweet potato of smokies (including TamTam)

My first destination was the Mage Paje in Brasilis (my hometown). He only knows how to speak the local language and translating is really troublesome. But the thing is, he could transform me into a raccoon.

screenTalonRO094.thumb.jpg.f259037258105e5b510f16271c1700cb.jpg

So, after that I went to the fields where Smokies usually gather. It took a long time, cuz I was in raccon form. Arriving there I started to interact with Smokies and I noticed its really hard to them to obtain a sweet potato. Thats why some smokies even trade their loyalty to a single sweet potato. So I traded the information of how to obtain sweet potatoes with ease (described below) for the knowledge of their best sweet potato dish. The result was a the discovery of the new Sweet Potato Pie! At the picture below I've marked who I am to make sure you guys recognize me if I go to raccoon form again.

screenTalonRO095.thumb.jpg.8b02e22be616afb1fc5d753da0ce7cfc.jpg

Well, I had some good information about food... but I was still a raccoon! Some evil people even tried to hunt me down, but luckly my Bigfoot friend (at my side in the picture above) scared them away! /sob Back to the Mage Paje, he said to me that turning back to human wasnt as easy as becoming an animal. He would need help of a good alchemist. So... I was in need to find a good alchemist, in my raccoon form, and convince him to help me. It was no easy task, but somehow, I've found the man. His name was Molgestein, an old alchemist in Geffen. He said to me he done things unimaginable to ordinary minds, and have witnessed unbelievable things. And thats why he trusted me.

screenTalonRO093.thumb.jpg.d5f514e261908e1c8d83cb1a91cc83da.jpg

With his help, I could finally become a human again.  during my explanation of why did I became a raccoon, wich was food, he mentioned his most new discovery was also about food: Vanilmirths could be transmuted into a edible thing. And very tasty thing. Although I did not understand what he was saying, I noted down the steps to transmute the Vanilmirth.

So this is how my food research journey ended. Two new recipes /gawi

Now I'll show how to DO those recipes.

The Sweet Potatoes are obtained from 1129.gifHorongs 1129.gif... BUT... there's a secret way to get lots of them. You'll need the folowing ingredients:

At this point you should know what happens next...

Spoiler

screenTalonRO084.thumb.jpg.cdb51861d427f0bd6dcea3279218d4c4.jpg

Yes, we're going to the Silk Sand Camel... get some (poop) sweet potatoes.

screenTalonRO086.thumb.jpg.0b8fe08b1ecab30da9d04186dddc660c.jpg

Repeat this step until you have enough (poop) sweet potatoes.

Now that we have our most troublesome ingredient, we can buy the remaining ones from a merchant (Egg, Onion, Table Cream, etc). As a Lord Knight, former swordsman, I suggest the Izlude merchants, they're nice.

screenTalonRO087.thumb.jpg.e2bbdf0f8d72b929b2996a8e0e4645a6.jpg

Well, to prepare the thing you'll need a kitchen now. Any kitchen will do, but the one in Amatsu has the sharpest knives!

screenTalonRO088.thumb.jpg.4a733a47e52c57ae820043846e42728e.jpg

They're very kind with strangers as you can see. /ho

Now I cant help you anymore, only up to you to follow the steps correctly and make a wonderful TamTam's Sweet Potato Pie!

screenTalonRO089.thumb.jpg.90ac185a1dae0ddb9c486d0414aaf72e.jpg

Now I need to show you how to transmute that Vanilmirth. Truth is: I have no idea how it is done. I asked an Alchemist friend to follow the steps, and he said its trivial for alchemists, but makes no sense to other people. Anyway, I'll list the steps here. Dont worry, its easier than the Pie above /no1.

First you need a Vanilmirth. Only alchemists can obtain Vanilmirths, so if you're not an alchemist, find one. The procedures to obtaining a Vanilmirth are simple: get an Embryo, do the (spooky scary) ritual of bringing homunculus to life, and make sure you form a pact with a Vanilmirth.

screenTalonRO096.thumb.jpg.02edbca58308ce03835f72b353bc9658.jpg

Now you have the main "ingredient". Next, you need to (order your homunculus to attack a MVP) end your homunculus life, but that shouldnt be a problem to alchemists that are used to life and death stuff. If you dont do so, you can still make the edible Vanil, but he will suffer immense pain in the proccess (imagine you body composition changing suddenly /desp . Yeah, it hurts. A lot). Now come the part that only alchemists understand:

  • g b n o p r e f a r e t a s k
  • u g n i s j e k c e o g n d p
  • n i e g b o p d s o a u w r v
  • l r m g r e x t a v i n e d e

After the alchemist follow those 4 steps stated above, the Vanilmirth should become edible. Dont let his sacrifice be in vain. Enjoy.

Season it with Soul of a Dead Pouring

I am never refering to salt as salt again. This is like way better. Great recipe, it looks super yummy!

And the addition of eggring! WEW! Very nicely done.

@Cueio now that you said it, I think I know exactly what bonbon that is. At least it looks a lot like it.
